Evening Snow - Linanthus dichotomus

Evening Snow is an annual herb producing several thin, waxy, erect stems. The inflorescence produces flowers which open in the evening and unroll into funnel-shaped corollas. The white lobes are a little more than a centimeter long and have purple shading on the undersides.



Linanthus dichotomus, a dicot, is an annual herb that is native to California and is also found outside of California, but is confined to western North America.
Distribution outside California: Arizona, Nevada.
